27 April 2020 – In mid-December 2019, a Cyprus-based investment company affiliated with Skytec Group Limited acquired the Loewe brand and trademarks of the insolvent German high-end TV manufacturer. The Loewe brand and trademarks had previously been transferred to a British investment fund in the course of the insolvency of the Loewe group. The acquiror plans to restart the business of Loewe and to expand the brand internationally in the premium segments for consumer electronics, and Loewe has already taken over 30,000 square meters at the traditional company headquarters and hired the first 45 employees for such restart.
